If ever you are planning to buy a second hand Audi A4 car, there are some inspections that you need to make. Evaluate the features of the Audi A4 such as the brake pedals, the engine, lights, gearboxes, wiring, handling, and control. Even if you buy a used Audi A4 model, remember that the quality is outstanding, the design is very stylish and its badge carries value and pride.

It will be easy for you to replace the car’s engine in case it isn’t in the best condition since there are different kinds of petrol or diesel engines that can be used for the Audi A4 car. In addition to its benefits, the 1.9 litre TDI diesel engine that it carries is cost effective, and the 4-wheel drive grip has 4 various Quattro models.

This particular Audi model is attractive and is one of the fastest cars around. It may have less spacious legroom compared to its rival luxury cars, but it is high-quality and can be used in long and short distances. Perfect for families or couples who love to travel.

If you’re thinking about the fast, 2-door sports coupe, Porsche 911 always comes up as one of the best of its kind. The interior and engine of this model has adapted to the digital era while the exquisite style stayed the same. If you’re curious to know a bit of its background and how it became successful, you are reading the right article.

In 1963, the Porsche 911 was created to be the much bigger, more comfortable and more powerful model compared to the Porsche 356. Its air-cooled engine is located at the back instead of the front which made the layout of this model revolutionary. With all the changes and tweaking done in this model, many other models were made, such as the racing sports car, the Carrera RS. Many car enthusiasts considered this model to be the greatest collector’s item among the 911 group.

Several years after, its engine power upgraded from 128 bhp to 160 bhp and with all the improvements done, the wheels, design and engine, the 911 legacy swift through success at several races.

The 911 turbo was introduced in 1974. It had an incredible acceleration given that they addressed concerns about the turbo lag. This turbo legacy lasted went on for 15 years. It was tweaked and enhanced again in 1983.

Since Audi models are known to have reputable car parts and is considered one of the best in the luxury cars group, it won’t be a surprise if you would ponder on buying a second hand version instead of a new one.

However, before you write that check, you need to evaluate the features of the model that you are going to buy. Check on the auto engine, brakes, lights, control, wiring, as well as the gearboxes.

Good news is, if you need to change the car engine, it will be easy for you to replace it since there are various diesel and petrol engines for an Audi A4. The downside to the Audi A4 is the less spacious legroom compared to the BMW 3 series. If you still insist on buying a second hand Audi A4 car, make sure that it is fully equipped, the primary parts are complete and that its 1.9 litre engine isn’t noisy.

Ideally, the Audi A4 is good for couples and families who often travel.

If you live in warm places, you may not need to worry about buying a luxurious car like a mercedes-benz and not having to drive it during the winter and snowy season. However, if you do live in a snowy state, you may want to consider getting some pointers from this article.

In general, Mercedes-benz car models can’t be driven in snow and ice because of its rear-wheel drive ensemble. But you don’t have to worry about the colder season if you have a model like a 4Matic all wheel drive, such as:

* C-Class, E-Class and S-Class sedans, or
* G-Class, GL-Class and M-Class SUVs
* Light Trucks,
* R-Class, and E-Class crossovers and wagons

What if you have a two wheel drive model? The solution here is to winternize your car by picking the right winter tires. You may choose between Goodyear’s Eagle Ultra Grip line and Bridgestone Blizzak. Both tires have been tested and designed for wet and snowy roads.

If you want to know more about these suitable winter tires, read some of the Mercedes-Benz forums online where they have more recommendations and some feedback regarding these winter tires.

At Berlin’s Michelin Challenge Bibendum, Porsche showcased not one but three Boxster E prototypes. These were displayed and available for a test-drive on the course as well.

In order to assess the electric cars’ practicality, these three cars were showcased as part of the “Model Region Electro-Mobility Stuttgart”. It has a Mid-engine layout, a two rear wheel drive and all-wheel models. The synchronization of the two models as well as the drive torque distribution between the axles is taken care of an electric control unit.

The all-wheel drive model has a twin electric motor drivetrain and a mesh gearbox on the axles. The power output has a maximum of 241 hp. It also has a 398 lb-ft torque. The engine’s maximum rpm is 12000. It can accelerate up to 62 mph from 0 in just 5.5 seconds. The cars’ top speed is at 93 mph. All three model cars have brake energy regeneration through an electric engine brake. This can be controlled by steering buttons.

If you’re wondering where it gets its power source, it is from a lithium ion phosphate-based traction battery which can range up to 107 miles. The battery weighs as much as 750 pounds. Charge time is up to 9 hours. Each of the cars have a TFT screen that features information about its remaining range and miles.

The BMW 5 Series already sold 5.5 million units in five different model generations. And, this success story is about to unfold another chapter.

Back in the 1960s, BMW was already known for manufacturing technically innovative midrange four-door sedans. Elegant, sporty and powerful are just some of the characteristics of its brand.

During that time, the most impressive and successful series BMW has ever introduced to the market was the “New Range”, consists of the BMW 1500, BMW1800 and the BMW 2000. The competitive production and development of these models gave the company a worldwide buildup and a reputation for manufacturing highly desirable automobiles.

In 1972, BMW 5 Series made its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show. It presented the BMW 520 and the BMW 520i. This model has a four-cylinder power units developing 115 and 130 hp respectively, showcased as the successors to the New Range.

This number “5” series became synonymous to driving with pleasure. It was the new era in design. Its physical features stood out through its stretched and sleek lines, low waistline and large windows. This series offers concentrated rendition of the competitive development of this leading manufacturer in Munich.

In the second year of production, the BMW 525 was introduced. It has a six-cylinder, refined engine feature delivering an impressive 145 hp. It is without a doubt that this series surpassed the success of the New Range. The demand for additional power became one of the reasons why more models were created.

In 1981, The Second Generation – First Diesel, sold almost 700,000 units. This striking design was engineered in such a way that provided more space within the vehicle, enhanced occupant safety, lightweight technology.

This new model also offered motoring comfort, based on the developed suspension with its double-joint front and semi-trailing arm axle. The advanced system of this BMW 5 series ranged from anti-lock brakes via on-board computer, to electronic fuel injection.

After seven years of production, this second generation was finally replaced. But the sales as of that point had generated more than 722,000 units, beating the old record.

In 1988, The third generation of the BMW 5 Series – also known as the Touring, set new standards in the occupant safety department. In addition to the anti-lock brake system, the Automatic Stability Control or ASC became available for the first time.

The Sales of the BMW 5 Series Touring, up to 1996 was approximately 125,000 units, and 1.3 million units were sold all over the world.

At the 1995 Frankfurt Motor show, the fourth generation of the BMW 5 Series made its debut. It had a Sporting and Elegant Style. Dual round headlights behind a glass cover. With a multifunction steering wheel, active seats, a dynamic stability control and a navigation system.

All these features made an outstanding, and high-tech representation of its segment. This generation sold up to 1.47 million units till the end of its production in early 2004. A new sales record indeed.

The Progressive and Efficient, fifth-generation BMW 5 Series was introduced in 2003. Its striking design, outstanding efficiency and innovative technology continued the legacy of its model series.

For four years in a row, from 2005 to 2008, BMW 5 Series became the best-selling car in its segment. By the end of 2007, there were more than a million units sold all over the world. In January of 2008, BMW Plant Dingolfing celebrated an impressive anniversary for having to come off the production line since 1973.

In early March, 2011, Audi will be introducing the technologically advanced A3, four-seater notchback sedan, at the 81st International Geneva Motor Show. The concept of this model is based on the future generation of Audi A3. This development of the A3 family clearly shows that the A3 family is expanding.

Features of the new Audi A3 Concept:
•    Sport but elegant design.
• The single-frame grille, narrow upper corners and headlights are integrated well with the newest LED technology.
• One of the distinct features is its low, flowing roof dome.
• Another distinct feature is the low C pillar on the side view.
• It is 4.44 meters long or 14.57 feet long.
• 6.04 feet wide or 1.84 meters wide
• 4.56 feet high or 1.39 meters high
• It has a five cylinder turbocharged engine with a power output of 300kW or 408 hp.

This power is equally distributed to all four wheels using a seven speed S tronic transmission as well as a permanent all-wheel drive.
The proportions of the car’s appearance highlight its dynamism, as well as the drive unit’s performance figures.

Since you want it protected on the road, from observing thieves and even unforeseen accidents, there are insurance options that you can look into. These options are created to suit the needs of every owners since there isn’t any single insurance that fits all.

Here are the different insurance packages you can choose from.

The Motor Insurance Package will provide the Mercedes-benz driver and the car a complimentary ride needed in case the vehicle is under repair or has gone through an accident. It covers lost or stolen car keys, lost personal belongings and protection when you use the car out of the country.

First Cover Insurance is a complimentary insurance package that lets the new owner enjoy driving the vehicle up to seven days without having to worry about not being insured. They get the same benefits that a Motor Insurance Package offers.

The Payment Protection Insurance on the other hand allows the Benz owner to have flexible repayments in case there are any unforseen financial changes or adjustments. This Insurance plan covers unfortunate events such as death of the owner due to accident, sickness, disability or even unemployment.

In case your car is stolen, in an accident, or written off, you may opt for the Finance Gap Insurance. This also protects you from any financial shortage during the repayment stage. An Invoice insurance on the other hand helps you with the difference of the initial price of your car and the insurance settlement if ever your car is stolen and unrecovered, written off or in an accident.

“Reliability” isn’t always the first thing that comes to mind when you look for the perfect sports car. It may come in later but it isn’t usually your first objective. Now what if you are stuck in a secluded highway and your engine is blown out? Now you realize how important it is to have a reliable sports car with great stamina that matches the speed.

You no longer have to worry about being stuck in a highway with a busted engine if you have a Porsche 911. JD Power & Associates started calling Porsche 911 as the most reliable car after a year of testing. The Porsche brand is also recognized by JD Power & Associates as having a quality German engineering. Even its factory plant at Stuttgard-Zuffenhausen was said to be the best car factory plant in the whole world.

For Porsche 911 sports cars, they got to this point because they are always driven. Dr. Stefan Knirsch, Porsche’s Corporate Quality Director said, “At Porsche we are never satisfied with our achievements. Traditionally, we have always stiven to become even better…because we take a very sporty view of quality as well.”
